More colors are on the way as Duncan Rhodes announced the Two Thin Coats Wave 3 Kickstarter will have 60+ new paints!

The first two waves were also Kickstarters and did really well, so it only makes sense that they keep the line moving forward and filling out some of the more unusual colors. The project hasn’t started quite yet, but you can sign up for the project now and get notified when it goes live and maybe get some early bird specials as well!

While the project isn’t live quite yet, once they put it up on the platform, it should be dropping very soon! You can sign up now to get all the notifications, and that way, if you want to support them, you don’t have to remember (let’s be honest, we all forget in a couple of weeks); they will just notify you! They also usually have the older paints available as add-ons, so you can restock those paints as well. Considering we don’t know exactly what will be in this wave, let’s check out the first two.

Once again, the Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy and Trans Atlantis Games have come together to create a brand-new wave of 60 more paints for miniatures and models! This second wave doubles the size of the Two Thin Coats range!

Two Thin Coats Wave 2 builds on the same high-quality formulas as Wave 1, mixing high pigment count with a smooth base to give your miniatures an amazing finish.

We’ve added 13 brand new triads to the range, with additional tones of red and blue, as well as adding Turquoise, Pink and Jade Green to the mix.

We’ve expanded on our range of skin tones as well rounding out the range with an Olive Drab set of tones, a Green Grey as well as a set of Ochres!

There will be 60 acrylic paints for miniatures overall, with washes, metallics, and 48 colors.
