Pledge The First Competitive Dungeon Building Game
The new Grim Dark Dungeon Master Project is a fast-paced game with interactive dungeons, competition, and so much more- check it out!
If you’ve been looking for a new game to play, this project just might be perfect! While it is a board game, it has minis that will give you that classic feel, and if you love RPGs, the setup of this is really interesting.
Instead of one player just controlling everything and bringing people through the adventure, it is interactive, and you actually play against the overlord!
The project has just kicked off, so while you have some time to support, don’t wait around too long and miss out on stretch goals and such! Let’s take a closer look at the project!
Let’s hear from them more about the game:
In this game, one player takes the role of the Grim Dark Dungeon Master who protects key areas of the dungeon to prevent the interruption of the dark doings that are spreading evil across the land.
Meanwhile, one to three other players assume the roles of heroes, working together to penetrate the dungeon, push past obstacles, and find three key locations. If these locations can be purged of evil, then they can slow the spread of the all-consuming darkness.
Neither the Grim Dark Dungeon Master player nor the hero players know the layout of the dungeon at the start of the game. This will be determined as the game is played with both sides trying to influence the position of key rooms as they are played on the table.
In Grim Dark Dungeon Master, each side competes to build a dungeon that will achieve their goals.
But that is only the beginning…
As you can see, there are plenty of ways to support! so whether you just want to get the core stuff to play the game or go big, you can!
Add-Ons:
This is just a tiny sampling of the add-ons; you can really customize your pledge to get exactly what you want! They have over 20 add-ons, so plenty to sink your teeth into!
That does it for this one. Just a really cool project to back that doesn’t come along very often…
