Supergiant New Marvel Crisis Protocol Rules

Supergiant Rules 2

Her basic attack, Mental Vampire, is a Range 3, Strength 5 Mystic attack that, thanks to the Drain Life special rule, allows her to remove a point of damage each time she harms her foe—an excellent way to mitigate her 5 Vitality. However, for 8 Power, she can unleash a devastating mental assault in the form of Devastate Intellect, which hits at Strength 8 and has a slew of special rules. Devastate Intellect does not deal damage to its intended target, in the traditional sense. Instead, it strips away Power for each point of damage it would inflict. But this attack can do so, so much more. As you accumulate wild results, it can also impose the Stun and Stagger conditions. The Devour Mind special rule kicks in if you’re lucky enough to collect the right attack roll results (including a Critical, Wild, and two Failures!). Rather than dealing damage, this flips the target character to Dazed or KOs them outright as Supergiant consumes their mind.

The basic attack alone is pretty strong, but the crazy part comes in when Supergiant can just outright daze a character. This will really help get through really tough characters, or at least make it so you don’t have to deal with them right away. Then Supergiant can also just strip away power, so she really seems like she’ll frustrate your opponent throughout the game!

Supergiant Rules 3

On top of one of the most devastating attacks on the battlefield, Supergiant has powers that give her more significant presence on the battlefield, like the telepathic control over Civilian tokens inflicted by her Submit! superpower, or the reactive superpower Supreme Control, allows her to prevent nearby allies from being pushed telekinetically.

While her defensive stats aren’t really that strong, with Ethereal she only takes one each time. So that makes her quite tough, however, she will drop all tokens, so maybe she’s not the best for capturing objectives.

Tactics Cards

MCP Tactics CardsFirst up is the Onslaught for Black Swan. This is a really cool way to get both of them charging to a single spot. Plus, it doesn’t cost too much. Then, we have the Fist of the Black Order.

If you aren’t running Thanos, this will give you a really powerful Leadership Ability. Especially when you combine this with Supergiant’s dazing ability, it could easily net you a ton of power throughout the game! Lastly, we have Psychic Shockwave, which just looks super strong. While it is somewhat expensive, this can deal some serious damage and disrupt your opponent’s plans!

Not only will you deal damage, but any character you deal damage to will actually have to drop objective tokens! pretty cool.

Overall, she looks like a good addition to your forces!
