Fantasy Flight Games is keeping up the momentum this month with yet another exciting announcement! It looks like X-Wing gamers will have another faction to look forward to commanding with the release of Wave 6.
It looks like Fantasy Flight Games will be kicking off wave 6 with loads of new releases for the brand new faction “Scum and Villainy.” Scum and Villainy are just that; all of the scum of the universe in a playable faction! Comprised of the most wanted and notorious bounty hunters, outlaws, and even Black Sun agents, this is sure to put an interesting twist on X-Wing.
Firstly, we have the Most Wanted Expansion dropping with wave 6. This is essentially a collection of some ships and all new ship cards along with the customary upgrade cards, maneuver dials, and tokens. We have all new Headhunter and Y-Wing ships with alternate paint schemes included in this expansion as well as ship cards for ships you may already have. Enlist the HWK-290 and Firespray 31 in Scum and Villainy with the brand new ship cards!
Next up, we have the Star Viper. This thing boasts a pretty impressive stat line as well as some pretty impressive actions in their action bar. With this expansion customers will get one highly detailed, pre-painted model, ship cards, upgrade cards, and all necessary tokens to augment your squadron with one of these guys.
M3-A Interceptor is yet another exciting release coming with wave 6. The M3-A is the perfect supplementary ship as a cheap, fast fighter to bring the pain to your opponent using speed and maneuverability rather than raw shooting power. This expansion comes complete with one pre-painted model, upgrade cards, ship cards, maneuvering dial, and all of the tokens you need to field it.
Lastly, the IG-2000 is the final release for wave 6.
This ship has a pretty ridiculous stat line and is sure to be a popular release. This thing comes armed to the teeth and even has the capability to take mines. Not enough firepower? You can equip this bad boy with not one, but two cannons! Of course you’ll get an impressively painted model with this release as well as all of the necessary cards and tokens to supplement your force with one of these.
