Come checkout an amazing new “soulburst” stratagem. Chapter Approved is almost here and now we’re seeing the new rules for Adeptus Sororitas.
Scanner is at it again, and this time we’re getting a look at the new rules for the Adeptus Sororitas from the upcoming Chapter Approved book. Let’s take a look.
The new Warlord Trait is going to be giveing Adeptus Sororitas the option of re-rolling failed Morale tests for friendly Adepta Sororitas units within 6″ of the Warlord. Meanwhile, you can replace a powers sword on a model with the new Relic, Blade of Admonition, and it will have Strength +2, AP -3, and does 3 Damage.
We’re also seeing two new Stratagems: Martyrdom and Purity of Faith are both going to cost you 1 CP..
Martyrdom is used at the end of a phase in which an Adepta Sororitas Character from your army was slain. Remove the unit from the battlefield, roll a D6, and on a 2+ one unit from your army with the Acts of Faith Ability can perform an Act of Faith.
Wow, that’s almost like Soulburst, but just with a resource costs now. Nothing like performing some out of sequence acts of faith like shooting, moving, assaulting, or heck even healing some wounds!!!!
Purity of Faith is used when an enemy Psyker manifest a psychic power within 24″ of an Adeptus Sororitas unit from your army. You’ll roll a D6, and on a 4+ that psychic power is resisted and its effects are negated.
The Adeptus Sororitas are getting some nice additions with the new Warlord Trait, new Relic, and new Stratagems. But, it’s not just the Adeptus Sororitas that are getting new rules, make sure you’re checking back in with us for the latest Chapter approved updates.
