New Snowtroopers? From Dream-Forge Games!

Checkout these new models from Dream-Forge Games’ Kickstarter, that look great even if it’s only a computer design so far!

I think they bear a sneaky resemblance to a certain cold weather combatant from a certain movie that happened a long time ago… in a galaxy…. aw forget it… they look like Snowtroopers, and I want some!

From Dream-Forge Games’ Site

As you may recall I was trying to work out how to make the skirting removable, so that you can choose whether or not you would like to have your heavy troopers ‘sans-skirt’
This involved making all new legs and re working the tassets and skirt, making them separate components. While I was at it I added two more running leg poses. Not all of these poses will be available in any one set as the heavy support weapons that require clearance for the ammo feeds and power cable may not work.

The 20 Man Valkir set will get all the leg poses and likely more.
Here are a few shots with the skirting on and off as well as some shots of the various legs. It goes without saying, they do not have the arms or helmets on most, while I am working on one area, the extra components get in the way of me rotating the model and checking for fit.

Re Stage 1:
I hope to have an update for you Monday with the shipping date, I know the container has been ordered and 99% of everything is boxed and ready to go… we are just waiting for a couple of test shots to get the last two components ready to go and the instructions for the Crusader back from the printer.  I will be able to get you some shots of the built models very soon… I do not have these in my hands and the folks at WGF China are building out the sets and taking some photos.
Thank you all for your patience, I will be bringing you more updates on stage one and the work on all the other stages as they progress.

Cheers,
Mark Mondragon
