If you’re tired of getting your army’s face pushed in by all those crazy D weapon and Monsters out there, checkout this piece of “secret tech” to help you.

When setting up across the table from a super heavy of Gargantuan creature, you can elect to roll on a the Warlord traits chart from the mostly out of date Escalation supplement book.

While it is a very old book, the ITC has ruled that it is valid for play in 7th Edition 40k.

If one player has a Super Heavy/Gargantuan LoW and the other does not, the player without can roll on the Escalation Warlord Traits Table and gains +1 to Seize the Initiative.

So let’s take a look at what makes this chart so special!

Warlord Traits Escalation 1

All of these are pretty good for fighting the big boys but if you happen to roll #4, that can really help keep your forces alive as they can’t get super “D” out of existence no matter version of the D weapon they’re using!

Plus don’t forget you can also get +1 to seize rolls as well, making Cotaez and anyone out there who lets you modify your seize roll worth taking in your army as well.

So if you don’t like playing against the big stuff, don’t forget you can always roll on this chart in a pinch if you have to face them on the tabletop!
