No salt needed once again, as we’re getting a look inside the covers of the T’au codex, at all the signature systems and stratagems from the book. You’re not going to want to miss this!
We got a look at a lot of rumors over the last week that started matching up with all of the previews we saw throughout the week, and it looks like we can confirm even more with the latest pictures of the T’au codex spotted over on Imgur.
Let’s take a look at some of the changes on the way for T’au players.
Stratagems

One of the best Stratagems we’re seeing coming out of the T’au codex os Hot-blooded. For 2 CP’s you can use this Stratagem at the beginning of your Shooting phase to pick a Vior’la Sept Infantry unit to shoot twice that phase.
However, all models in the unit must target the closest enemy unit each time. This is going to make the T’au absolutely devastating in ranged combat, and who needs to Command Point reroll anymore when you can just shoot twice…
Points
As far as points go, it looks like the rumor was dead on with those as well.

The Riptide alone is seeing a 24 point drop coming in at 185 points now, down from 209 points in the Xenos 2 index. As for the rest of the numbers listed in the “rumor”, they’re all matching up, and we’re realizing that we actually knew what was in the codex before the previews ever started.
