The latest Rebel ship blasts onto the scene, and it’s a TIE fighter! Come and see the newest tricks and traps that the Rebels have set for the Empire!

This stolen TIE fighter seems to be just a standard dog fighter, but the Rebels have refit it with some brand new upgrades that will help you gain an edge against Imperial entanglements.

Sabine Wren feels right at home at the controls of her TIE fighter, and her pilot ability is the same as on the Assault Shuttle. She may perform a free boost or barrel roll before revealing her maneuver. This is insane for her maneuverability, and Push the Limit seems the perfect fit on this ship to get the most bang for your buck.

Her namesake title upgrade gives her a crew and illicit slot, opening up all kinds of cool combinations to add to this ship. Recon Specialist is a good fit, or even Hera Syndulla, who would allow her to perform red maneuvers even while stressed. But a new illicit upgrade comes with this expansion; one that will surely add an element of surprise and control to your squadron.

EMP device allows you to forgo attacking to add 2 ion tokens to each ship at range 1 of you. It is a one time use card but if used in the right instance, it can change the whole sway of the battle. Since it assigns 2 ion tokens large based ships will be ioned instantly! Drop it in an enemy swarm and line up perfect shots for the next turn.

Ashoka Tano is an interesting new pilot that adds great support ability to your squad. At the start of the combat phase you may spend one focus token to allow a friendly ship at range 1 to perform a free action. This is pretty cool as it can really help you out during the combat phase, after all enemy ships have moved. Boost out of arc or line up the perfect shot. Another interesting upgrade that could add a new dynamic is the Captured TIE title.

This title is very interesting, it prevents enemy ships that have a lower pilot skill from attacking a ship with this modification. this could allow you to get into position to perform Ashoka’s ability without being harmed in return. After you perform an attack, or are the last remaining ship, you must normally discard the upgrade. At Pilot Skill 7, Ashoka can easily out pace other enemy ships by equipping Veteran Instincts, bumping her up to PS 9. Notorious bad guys such as The Inquisitor and Omega Leader will not be able to target the Captured TIE! Use this ability to blend in with the  enemy!

That’s it for the latest the Rebellion has to muster against the Empire and keep the good fight going. Will you have fun flying a Rebel TIE fighter? I know I will!
