X-Wing Expansion: The Clone Wars

Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. The Separatist Alliance has driven a spike into the heart of the galaxy, splintering the once-unified worlds with chaos, tyranny, and fear. But even in this age of uncertainty and disunion, legendary Jedi Knights band together and fight to preserve the Republic. Soon, you can choose a side and experience a new era of space combat. Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce a new wave of expansions for X-Wing!

That’s right. The game you know and love is taking a step further into the story bringing all new ships and mechanics with it. Play with the iconic Droid ships as well as the Republics’ fighters. Check out the whole slew of expansions coming to the game!

Servants of Strife

Within this expansion, you’ll find both a heavily armed Belbullab-22 starfighter and two Vulture-class droid fighters (painted in General Grievous’s colors) to begin building your Separatist Alliance squadrons. Accompanying these ships is a full suite of 48 upgrade cards that reflect the Separatists’ emphasis on groups of networked droid fighters working as one.

You can start your separatist force by getting three new ships painted in alignment with General Grievous. New upgrades will come in the pack as well. The best part is that all of the core set cards can be combined with the expansion to give you even more options.

Speaking of upgrades, check out Kraken for the Droids. Up to three friendly ships close by get a free calculation in the phase!

Sith Infiltrator

With the Sith Infiltrator, you’ll be able to cloak and strike from the shadows. This expansion will have five ship cards including Darth Maul.

This ship is going to be fast, nimble, and most definitely deadly. Especially with Darth Maul’s bonus attack against a target that thinks he got away.

Vulture-Class Droid Fighter

The Vulture-class Droid Fighter Expansion Pack contains everything you need to begin building your own squadron of linked droid starfighters—most importantly, a beautifully pre-painted Vulture-class droid fighter miniature.

Droids are all linked up and that lets them make better calculations than a human pilot could possibly achieve. Because of this, they can become extremely potent shots with careful calculations. Energy Shell Charges are no joke when it’s being guided by linked-up Droid mechanics.

Guardians of the Republic

Leading the fight against the Separatist war machine are none other than the Jedi Knights. They enter the fight at the controls of the Delta-7 Aethersprite, a starfighter that allows them to use their Force-enhanced reflexes to the fullest. Behind them, clone pilots take to the skies in V-19 Torrents, covering their Jedi Generals with coordinated fire, tight formation flying, and salvos of missiles.

Jedi pilots mean force-sensitive skills! These fighters are painted in Obi-Wan Kenobi’s colors and will contain brand new Force cards like Brilliant Evasion.

If you’re wanting to pick up this game and join the Jedi in their cause, this expansion will do you just right!

Arc 170 Starfighter

With the ARC-170 Starfighter Expansion Pack, you can bring a single ARC-170 starfighter to your X-Wing battles. Primed for battle, clone pilots like “Sinker” are ready to do whatever it takes to support their squadron, whether that means defending the flanks of a formation or giving support to a Jedi General.

Deta-7 Aethersprite

With five ship cards—including four unique pilots—the Delta-7 Aethersprite Expansion Pack adds even more Jedi for you to include in your Galactic Republic squadrons, including the legendary Anakin Skywalker. Though the Delta-7 is specifically designed to work with its pilot’s enhanced reflexes, any Jedi would still welcome the aid of the Calibrated Laser Targeting modification to add even more damage potential to their primary attacks.

Now, you have the chance to continue growing your Scum and Villainy squadrons. The Z-95-AF4 Headhunter Expansion Pack includes everything you need to add one Z-95-AF4 Headhunter ship to your squadron, including a miniature with a stunning new paint scheme, four ship cards, five upgrade cards, and a handful of tokens. All the ship and upgrade cards included in this expansion pack are also included in the Scum and Villainy Conversion Kit!

Scum and Villainy will be getting support in the new expansion as well. Just because Droids are the new fighting force doesn’t mean that the galaxy’s bottom feeders are gone!

TIE SK Striker

With the TIE/sk Striker Expansion Pack, you have a new option for rounding out your Imperial squadrons. In addition to the fully assembled, pre-painted TIE/sk striker miniature, five pilots stand ready to swoop into battle and protect the Empire, while five upgrade cards give you the chance to further customize your squadron. In addition to this expansion pack, the ship and upgrade cards in this expansion can also be found in the Galactic Empire Conversion Kit.

Maneuver Dial Upgrade Kits: Separatist & Repbublic

These kits will protect your cardboard maneuver dials in a plastic case. Each pack comes with three and show off the allegiance that you’re fighting for.

Look for these expansions to hit the shelves sometime in the first quarter of 2019.
