Conversion Corner- WIP Sculpted Chaos Nurgle Rhino

Well Jkin has been at it again. He’s taking a small break from his Thousand Sons army and working on something new.

Now instead of making some Astartes look noble,  he’s afflicting a their vehicles with Nurgle’s Rot. I’m sold, because boy does it look good so far!

He’s gone to town on this thing, staring out with huge areas of detail first, rather then getting bogged down with smaller more frequent splotches of mutations about.

Lets take a look shall we?

First off form the side view, we can see a lot of the overall areas of detail Jkin has finished. There is the maggoty hull muncher on the side, a mutated Nurgle symbol on the back, and a chest buster nurgling by the stormbolter.

We can also see from this angle the rest of the potential work he’ll be doing. More putty around the Nurglings and symbols, and probably some ripped hull work around the huge spike in the front.

From the left side we can see the pustules he did on the side hatch that symbolically formed into the mark of Nurgle.

There is plenty more room for green stuff. I can’t wait to see what more he does with the sides.

On the top are all the details of the hatch work, and hull maggot. You an also see at the very top of the hull burster Nurgling. NOM NOM!

Below are a few more close ups, and some shots of his WIP Thousand Sons Rhino I featured a few weeks back.

Would anyone enjoy an article on how to make mutations with Green Stuff? Just comment! -MBG
