Vulkan He’stan Re-Imagined

Recently I picked up some of Dingareth’s extra models, and in his collection I found this little gem, a converted Vulkan He’stan model!

So I thought I would share with the rest of the class, cause this little guy rocks.

I know, I know, he’s wearing a helmet and no characters in the far future do. But just bear with me and let’s take a closer look!

The Conversion

The model itself is one of the pewter Masters of the Chapter figures that Games Workshop put out a few years ago, with a head swap.

From there it looks like Dingareth added a Terminator Heavy Flamer arm, and attached a Force Halberd end to the existing weapon shaft.

The mantle has me perplexed, as I can not place it.

I think it may have either been a Chaos or Space Wolf cape as the vent swaps were probably done because of a clashing theme. It does look like some sort of vents went there to begin with, so I’m thinking it was an Astartes cape.

Either way it looks great, and the overall theme to the whole figure really rocks! Plus you can tell it’s Vulkan….. re-imagined!

Three Sixty, below.

Can anyone place that cape? -MBG
