Yoda’s Getting Crazy: Star Wars Destiny Deck Tech

Yoda

Yoda is bringing the heat with his new bounty hunter buddy, Boushh! Will Leia in disguise be the new hit Hero team for Destiny?

Yoda

Yoda is a Hero staple in Destiny and he is always bringing the crazy dice. With no blanks, anything you roll with Yoda will be useful for your team, especially his 2 focus and 2 special ability sides. This deck will focus on special ability chaining, and once you get them rolling, there are endless possibilities with Yoda. Leia Organa (Boushh)

Leia is the perfect companion to Yoda, adding Yellow Villain cards to your deck. Leia also has a powerful special ability being able to deal 2 damage to an opponent unless they give you 1 resource or 2 resources if you spot a Villain card. Combined with Yoda’s special ability, you can gain 1 resource, deal 2 damage, or if your opponent opts out on the damage, up to 3 resources with some special chaining!

Cunning

If you are going with a special ability chainer deck, always go with Cunning. This 2 cost Yellow upgrade not only comes with great utility options like focus and disrupts/discard, it also has the incredible ability to use any other special ability in play as if it were your own card. This can combo infinitely well with Yoda and Leia respectively. Grappling Boa

A fantastic Yellow villain upgrade for this deck is Grappling Boa. This 2 cost upgrade is melee focused and gives you the ability to remove a character die if that character takes damage from the Boa. This can also proxy Leia’s increased resource stealing with her special ability, giving you 2 resources for spotting a Villain card.

Friends in Low Places

The only weakness to a Yoda/ Leia deck is dice mitigation and removal. A nice way to get around this weakness is having Friends in Low Places. This 0 cost Event allows you to spot a Yellow character to look at an opponent’s hand and discard an event that costs 1 or less. This can help you rid your opponent’s hand of those pesky removal cards that would prevent Yoda and Leia from getting crazy!
