Groovin’ Grievous: X-Wing 2.0 Ship Build

General Grievous

General Grievous is at the controls of his own starfighter in X-Wing 2.0 and he is lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike at the precise time!

General Grievous

General Grievous is blasting out of hyperspace in his brand new Belbullab-22 starfighter with advanced technologies that will take down his prey with ease. This small and nimble fighter is able to arc dodge effectively with its linked actions, giving it a boost to a focus or barrel roll to a focus. This will allow Grievous to dodge firing arcs, and his pilot ability is suited just for this tactic. While Grievous is attacking, if he is not in the defender’s firing arc, he may re-roll up to 2 attack dice. This will be great for getting his attacks to hit their mark as well as reducing return fire to the droid general. Outmaneuver

Since arc dodging will be his bread and butter, Grievous will want to use Outmaneuver. This elite upgrade reduces the defender’s agility by 1 when you attack an enemy that is not in your firing arc. With his re-roll ability and 1 less defense die, your opponent’s ships will be easily destroyed with General Grievous! Use his boost and barrel roll actions to dodge those arcs, and Grievous will easily pick off his targets. Impervium Plating

To add to his sinister droid endurance, Grievous will equip Impervium Plating on his Belbullab-22 as a modification. This upgrade allows you to discard faceup Ship damage cards by spending 1 charge. With 2 charges, this can effectively give Grievous and additional 2 hull, as long as you are drawing faceup damage cards and they are of the Ship variety. Either way, this will make General Grievous a tough ship for the upcoming Separatist faction in X-Wing 2.0!
