 Noise Marine w/ Working Audio: eBay Miniature RescueseBay Miniature Rescues wants to test his hand at a unique Noise Marine model! He paints it to the box art, but with some of his own ideas.

eBay Miniature Rescues is known for his, well, miniature rescues! However, he is no stranger to all things hobbies. Whether it is making conversions or testing paint techniques, he won’t shy away! For this video, he got a unique Noise marine with a working speaker and wants to spruce it up!

noise marine ebayAs we can see this is mostly a display piece after seeing the huge speaker and base. This model will be sweet to look at and listen to!

speakerFirst off, he covers the bottom half of the speaker with Citadel Abaddon Black. Then using Citadel Naggaroth Night followed by Citadel Xerus Purple and Citadel Genestealer Purple to create a smooth transition to the top. Using Scale 75 Harvester Flesh paint over the fleshy bits and going over it with Citadel Screamer Pink.

amor basedUsing Vallejo Metalic Black paint and Vallejo Dark Aluminum as the highlight, paint the backpack unit. Next, use Daler Rowney Turquoise and lightly coat the bottom of the backpack. Using Citadel Air Caledor Sky paint the blue armor. Follow that up with Citadel Lothern Blue and highlight those areas working your way up to a Daler Rowney White.

guitar doneAfter this, he starts on the body and leopard print. Switch between Citadel Troll Slayer Orange and VGA Moon Yellow to create gradients on the armor. At this point, he bases the guitar with a mix of the Orange and Yellow. Using Citadel Khorne Red coat the bottom half of the guitar. Next, use Vallejo Copper and Dark Aluminum to cover the metallics on the guitar. Then he Edge highlights the whole guitar with Citadel Flash Gitz Yellow.

blue armor gettin therAfter that, use Dark Aluminum on the trim and other dark metal areas around the model. Using Citadel Khorne Red paint all the tubes around the model, then highlight it with Citadel Fire Dragon Bright. Taking Citadel Abaddon Black and Yriel Yellow paint a caution style striped pattern on the smaller tubes. Edge highlight all the blue armor with Citadel Blue Horror.

all the bits of the noiseUsing a mix of Abaddon Black and Incubi Darkness paint the chest area with an airbrush. Next, paint the leather areas with Doombull Brown, Skrag Brown, and Kislev Flesh.

freehand leapardFor the scattered green areas on the model start with Incubi Darkness, moving up to VGA Escorpena Green, and Citadel Moot Green. With Vallejo Gold paint the gold areas. Using Skrag Brown and Citadel Rhinox Hide paint some freehand leopard print.

Helmet doneVallejo Dark Green can be used to start filling in the hair. Follow that with VGA Moon Yellow to paint the top ends of the hair. Go in with Escorpena Green to try to smooth the transition from green to yellow. The rest of the hair can be coated with Troll Slayer Orange. Use Citadel Grey Seer to coat the details on the helmet.  Paint the front of the helmet with Incubi Darkness then use the same trim and tubing colors as the body. You can also paint some stripes on the side with Abaddon Black.

With that the model is complete and the noise marine is mounted on his giant speaker!
