GW Recognized The Game Store We Called World’s Best

coolest game store 3Games Workshop has recognized Legendary Wargame a game store we recently called one of the world’s best and we love it!

We covered Legendary Wargame in Bangkok, Thailand, a few weeks ago because when we saw it, the store blew our minds! They have everything from a homemade Knight titan with shoulder pads made out of a VolkswagonBug, insane amounts of product, and a killer Space Marine Outrider bike. So, we wanted to take another look at the store and check out some of the pics GW got because they have ones with the Knight all lit up!

They posted the pics on Warhammer Community, but we also grabbed some from their Facebook for more awesomeness!

GW Recognized Legendary Wargame Game Store

coolest game store 2While there is so much awesome about this store, the giant knight right in front of their building might just be the best part! Just look at the detail on this thing and it’s so big they used a full car for the shoulder pads!

We’re not sure how long this took them to make or how they did it but we might make the trip to Legendary Wargame just to see this!

beast of a game store 3The attention to detail is just so insane and they even put it on a base of all things… We originally didn’t know this had lights, but man it looks somehow even cooler at knight!

coolest game store 3If the Knight wasn’t enough for you, they also have an amazing-looking bike as well, this thing looks pretty giant as well, maybe the real size a Space Marine would use. Oh yeah, this is all before you even go inside! The coolness doesn’t stop here though.

When you see how much they get of each product, you might feel the warm fuzzies. They also did some killer Sisters Cosplay.

Everyone wants something like this on the road and wants to try to ride it. We want to pretend to be a Space Marine, riding it, fighting against Ork hordes.

Walls of Product

coolest game store 5How in the world did they get this many Dominion boxes? We honestly have no idea but this might be the single most impressive wall of product we’ve ever seen!

coolest game store 4They didn’t get quite as many of Kill Team, but my goodness that is a hobby dream right there!

coolest game store 6While the number of Orks products here is nice, just look at how well they display all the old armies. They have dozens of cabinets all filled with LED lights and some seriously insane armies. Just every inch of this place is something to look at and oogle over.

They even have card games, and RPGs too!

coolest game store 7If you ever find yourself in Bangkok you need to check out Legendary Wargame, as its name says it all!

A Missed Opportunity for GW

beast of a game store 4Honestly, though it is a little disappointing that GW wrote an entire article about the awesomeness of the Legendary Wargame and didn’t link back to them at all.

There are plenty of links in the post on Warhammer Community, but every one of them goes to GW’s own products on their webstore, no FB links, store links, nothing pointing to Legendary Wargame. And as a matter of fact, the pinned post on their Facebook page points to how you can buy your very own Knight titan…

mad scummy gw

Mad scummy, and just another example of GW missing a prime opportunity to help one of its partner businesses, while alienating their community and cheapening the hard work of game store owners worldwide.

You were better once GW, you can be better again.

So with that said, be sure to give Legendary Wargame a follow!
