Riding the Beasts of Nurgle: Army of One

The Death Guard likes to spread their pox around the world as it gets them more followers for Grandfather Nurgle!

Here are the latest models from the community, brought to us by Alex Shaughnessy on Spikey Bits Hobbies Facebook Group.

Lord of Unrest

Lord of Unrest

The Lord of Unrest. Will-Breaker. Harrow-blade… The titles that befall The Plaguelord Ko Greenblade are as intimidating as they are infinite. Amongst the finest of the Blight Kings in the entirety of Nurgle’s armies, Ko eschews leadership of his own command; instead of acting on behalf of his master in a secret and direct capacity.

Lord of Unrest

Such is the mystery surrounding this mythical figure, he is kept at arm’s length by his fellow pustulant brethren. He is deemed a bad omen by the daemonic and mortal followers of the Dark Gods alike for wherever he is sent there lies a threat deserving of his presence. Despite this gloomy reputation Ko also inspires bubbling confidence in those who fight alongside him, for his victories in battle are legendary among Eegreb’s ranks. His victories have earned him many daemonic gifts including a powerful daemon blade and a variety of fungi that sprout from his body, each strain offering gifts of healing, toxins, and other magical wonders.

The greatest of his gifts from his Dark Patron however is his Mount. Never given a name due to the silent and mysterious nature of its master, the beast is a powerful mountain of rust and sinew. The strong bond between the two is the only positive relationship Ko is ever seen to have had, pouring affection and care into his demonic steed. Cast in armor plating capable of resisting the strongest of metals and most powerful of magics, the beast shrugs off impending damage like an ox swatting a fly; heeding its master’s every call while he casts powerful pox magic from its back, the pair scything down enemies together with glee.

“I see a big beastie!”
