fyreslayer wal

Want to see exactly what the newly previewed magmic invocations will be able to do on the tabletop? Check out the latest for the Fyreslayers.

According to Warhammer Community, Fyreslayers are getting their own endless spells in the form of lava and runes! Take a closer look at what each invocation does and tell us what you think will be the most useful all-around.

Molten Infernoth

invocation 3

Basically, this thing can sprout up 12″ away from a Priest and then crawls a random 2D6 afterward. Any unit that gets too close might take a few mortal wounds. (he’s only doing them on a 6+ but gets 12 dice). Really, he’s a lot like the Zharrgron Flame-Spitter.

Zharrgron Flame-Spitter

invocation 1

This invocation is the giant fiery plume spewing up from the ground. A Priest can roll a single D6 and on a 3+, he successfully summons it. SO what does it do? As long as there’s a Priest within 6″, then the invocation is active and you can fling some molten rocks! It’s got a decent range at 24″ and you automatically roll 12 dice. If you felt really lucky, you could just pick a character and pelt him to death with rock after rock.

Runic Fyrewall

invocation 2

This invocation alone could be the bane of all shooting armies. They can throw up this wall and prevent any vision to anything behind it. What makes this thing even better is that it can’t be denied like a normal spell. All you need to do is roll a 3+ and then you’ll be able to throw up some runes that shut down Stormcast Ballista gunlines.

Fyreslayers aren’t a new faction but these Invocations certainly shake things up! What Invocation do you think is the best overall? How many Priests will you be running? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
