Games Workshop just confirmed new releases for Space Marines and Blitz Bowl hitting Barnes & Noble, but still mum on Target Stores.
GW has broadened its horizons by releasing some boutique boxed games in retail stores. For Barnes and Noble, there are some surprise expansions coming, however, we also know some are available at Target as well. Here’s the latest from Warhammer Community.
We’ve partnered with Barnes & Noble in North America to bring Warhammer to new audiences through some exclusive games. Now a couple of them are getting expansions so there are even more gameplay options to explore. Take a look!
Warhammer Adventures Labyrinth of the Necron Available At Target $39.99 (online only)
Space Marine Adventures is a fast-paced cooperative game for 1-4 players, pitting a squad of brave Space Marine warriors against the menace of the alien Overlord and his robotic footsoldiers in the dark and dangerous labyrinth of the Necrons.
We’ve covered this base game earlier. Essentially, it’s a multi-stage dungeon crawling game where you and your friends will play as Space Marines. As you make your way into a Necron Labyrinth, you’ll have to fight to survive. The cool part is that you can order it from Target, but the expansions looks to be B&N exclusives!
Blitz Bowl Teams $19.95 ea.
Blitz Bowl, an off-shoot game in the Blood Bowl universe is bringing four new teams.
- Chaos (Doom Lords)
- Undead (Champions of Death)
- Skaven (Skavenblight Scramblers)
- Halflings (Greenfield Grasshuggers)
Note that these are already existing teams in the Blood Bowl line. However, these models are also coming to Blitz Bowl now!
Blitz Bowl Build & Paint Set $34.95
Just like any other GW release, these models need to be painted. And with this being designed to be an easy step deeper into the hobby world, Blitz Bowl is also coming with a build and paint set. In here, you’ll get a brush, clippers, glue, and these paints:
- Abaddon Black
- White Scar
- Mephiston Red
- Averland Sunset
- Deathworld Forest
- Mournfang Brown
- Leadbelcher
- Bugman’s Glow
- Armageddon Dust
- Agrax Earthshade
More Space Marine Adventures Revealed $24.95 ea.
Two new expansions are coming to Space Marine Adventures. We actually saw an early word on this expansion. However, one being Recon Mission and Rescue Mission, these are both containing models originally seen from the first Space Marine Heroes line that was originally only available in Japan, but expanded to the U.S.!

Space Marine Adventures Build & Paint Set $34.95
Space Marine Adventures is getting a dedicated paint set too, but in this kit, we’re trading out the clippers and glue to give you more paint options.
Like Blitz Bowl, GW is giving us a build and paint kit. However, you’ll have to find the clippers and glue somewhere else. They’re giving us more paint to choose from. They are:
