More 40k campaign books have hit online shelves! Don’t miss a look at the books GW brought back this week and upcoming previews.
Just like last week, these two sets of re-released books will only be up for a limited time, so if you want them, make sure you get your orders in now. Among with the hint of other previews, the books, are technically the only new releases this week as GW’s retail and fulfillment departments are still closed indefinitely.
Re-released Campaign Chronicles
Warhammer Community let everyone know that these books are back for a limited time.
The Psychic Awakening has left the entire galaxy in a state of flux, but how did we get here? For one week only, you can get your hands on two of the Warhammer 40,000 campaigns that led to the Psychic Awakening – Shield of Baal and War Zone: Fenris. Both feature Chapters of Space Marines desperately fighting to protect their home systems and are available digitally for a special price. Let’s take a look.
Sheild of Baal Campaign Supplement
Exterminatus is the conclusion to the Shield of Baal series. It sees Dante lead a coalition force of Blood Angels, Flesh Tearers, Astra Militarum and Adepta Sororitas cleanse the Shieldworlds of the xenos menace.
These are books from the old edition for 40k rules-wise, however, the stories are the ones that are directly before the Psychic awakening. If you are a lore hound, these may still be worth picking up!
Warzone Fenris Campaign Supplement
The devastation wrought by Magnus in the Fenris System allowed him to bring the Planet of the Sorcerers into realspace. This set into motion the events of Psychic Awakening: Ritual of the Damned, where the united Grey Knights and Dark Angels try to put a stop to the Crimson King.
Once again, the rules in these books are completely outdated. However, if you are interested in the story leading up to psychic awakening, then it may be worth picking up.
