RUMORS: GW Decembers New Releases Spotted?

dark aposotle chaos marine hor walIf you love WILD speculation, well these releases that are supposedly for December from GW are pretty spicy if true! Don’t miss this one!

Spotted initially on Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Facebook group, what looks to be a product sheet of future releases for GW was spotted. Ranging from Warcry to Blood Bowl and even Age of Sigmar, we’ve got an early look at what may possibly lie ahead.

Legit or Hoax? New Product Sheet on GW Releases SPOTTED

There are a few main highlights to be pulled from the sheet. Keep in mind that all we can see is a SKU number and the name of the possible release. while all of the entries on the sheet are exciting, the main highlights are Oldheim Ogres, Slaves to Darkness Support, and Warcry Warbands that have already been released.

Blood Bowl Ogre Team Mismatch

Starting off, we just saw the Blood Bowl Ogre team revealed at Spiel’19. They’re called the Fire Mountain Gutbusters, which is completely different from the Oldheim Ogres spotted on the sheet. However, along with the Ogres, there’s mention of classic Blood Bowl releases like dugouts, card packs, and dice.

The Oldheim Ogres are nothing new, however. They were first seen in 1988 as part of the Blood Bowl era back then and even had a named character called Joachim Goadmalice. If this sheet is legit, could we be seeing a secondary release of Ogres? Maybe a legendary team or a few star players will come to Blood Bowl.

Slaves to Darkness Support?

As for the Slaves to Darkness, they’ve got some incredible models but their rules support is shoddy. While there hasn’t been any official mention of Slaves to Darkness getting support, it would only make sense that they would.

Since Sigmar opened up the floodgates and is pushing back the Chaos gods, you’d think these guys would have something to say about it. What’s exciting about these potentially true releases is that they look to be getting the full treatment. That means there could be a battletome, a Start Collecting box. Warscroll cards and even endless spells!

Warcry Warband Names That We’ve Already Got

For Warcry, the Warbands that we’ve already got access to were seen on the sheet full of other future possible releases. So why would they be there? Well, the SKU numbers don’t match up.

For example, the Untamed Beasts SKU number is 99120216013. However, if you look on the sheet, the SKU number is 99120201094. It just wouldn’t make sense for a product we can already buy to have a different SKU number so something else must be going on.

While the sheet is totally unconfirmed, the different SKU numbers for Warbands already released could mean that we will be getting even more models added to the factions???

As it stands, if you buy a Warband box for $50, you have exactly enough to play a 1000 pt game of Warcry. However, you have to buy another box or buy the models individually from separate sources if you want to change up your list. The different SKU numbers could be a box of new models for the already-existing Warbands to help players spice up their games instead of going against mirror-matches.

Once again, these rumors are certainly unconfirmed and not a whole lot should be counted to the picture until we see GW being to preview things on the sheet. With that said, if these things do lie ahead for future releases, there are some exciting updates that we can look forward to!

What do you think about the potential releases of products spotted on the sheet?
