We are going to show you everything including the sprues, bits, and of course comparisons.  That way you can decide if these are worth your hard-earned hobby dollars. Let’s go!

The 7 Best Death Guard Kits: Unboxing

Lord Felthius & The Tainted Cohort

Lord FelthiusThis kit can be quite hard to get! But if you manage to grab one, it is very cool. All the minis look great and are ETB, so you can get them ready to paint in minutes. It takes longer to clip them out than to build them.

Plague Marine Champion & Biologus Putrifier

Plague Marines and BiologusThese are all single character kits that are pretty impressive and run for about $25. There aren’t special rules for the Champion, just an upgrade to the normal guy that comes in the bigger kit. The Biologus Putrifier had a lot of people excited, and it is pretty sweet!

Plagueburst Crawler

Plagueburst CrawlerThe kit doesn’t come with a ton of extra weapon options but it is super detailed and looks awesome. It goes together similar to how the old Leman Russ tank did but isn’t really too hard to build, you just have to really follow the order of operations for this one.

Death Guard Heroes

Death Guard HeroesYou can still grab a factory sealed box of these to make sure you get all of them off of Amazon. Just make sure it’s sealed so you know you’re getting one of each! Each of the minis is ETB and have two head options but not much else in the way of options.

Blightlord Terminators

You get 5 minis in this kit and two sprues so a decent amount more than the Deathshroud box. They are very hardy minis with a bunch of options, like heads and weapons. The one thing to note is, you don’t get enough axes or swords to equip the whole squad with one or the other, and a similar thing for the ranged weapons as well.

Deathshroud Terminators

Deathshroud TerminatorsWell, obviously these were coming next! They come with 40mm bases and you get 3 amazing minis in this kit. They are basically like 3 mini Mortarions. They are fairly static in their posing and you don’t have a ton of options. But just how good they look makes up for it. They do go together a little strangely, but nothing too hard.

Mortarion

MortarionOf course, we had to finish the list with the big boy himself. He is almost as big as Magnus and is a bit of a bear to put together, but you really can’t expect anything else with a mini this big. Overall it looks amazing and makes for the perfect centerpiece to lead your Death Guard forces! Just remember, the more of the little Nurglings and extra bits you add on, the more you’ll have to paint!

That does it for this one! The Death Guard has a ton of cool kits, but these are Rob’s favorites.
