The dangerous and skilled Darnati Warriors are heeding the war horn’s call to reinforce the Latari and aid in their fight for Terrinoth!
Known for being enigmatic and elusive, even to the Latari, these skilled warriors are a graceful and deadly sight to behold as the wield their moonstones blades in combat. The Darnati Warriors Unit Expansion comes with 8 unpainted models, a series of tokens, and 5 upgrade cards that are tailored to the needs of the Darnati. They clock in at a cost of 19 for 2 trays of warriors.
Living a silent and ascetic lifestyle, they always answer the war horn’s call in time of need, cleaving through enemies with their two-handed moonstone blades. It is their bond with these blades that enables them to focus their energy into powerful and graceful attacks. Such attacks give the Darnati the capability of rolling 3 blue dice when making a melee attack, which adds to the chances of one surge icon being rolled. With said surge, they can spend to gain Lethal 1 keyword for the duration of the attack. There is a cost as the Darnati blades will slow after each strike and, after re-rolls, one blue die must be removed.
Losing a blue die isn’t bad when you can spend their “Moment of Inspiration” upgrade to add a 1 white die during a melee attack. The Darnati are trained to move in synchronicity as a group. Their command tool reflects this with a white reform modifier that can be used at any time. Eight modifiers in total make up their command tool, with 2 capable of being used with any action. They are able to stay mobile both early and late game. Blue actions and modifiers allow them to attack early while green actions allow them to evade and reposition. Lastly, their dial give them a bonus hit modifier to pair with their melee action.
