If retail giant Amazon thinks a game is a winner shouldn’t we? Come get the inside scoop on the retail side of Age of Sigmar!

I wanted to chat about this the other day, so here goes. It seems like overall the Age of Sigmar release is doing well, and in some cases is out selling Warhammer 40k items even!

Here’s the highlights form retailers, and industry insiders;

  • The game is selling, with stores that promote it seeing higher sales on Fantasy items, and Age of Sigmar as well.
  • You can play it with TWO different versions on comp, OR just as intended by the 4 page rules book.
  • Some stores report Fantasy ‘refugees’ snapping up Kings of War, and Warmachine respectively.
  • Look for 3 more weeks minimum of Age of Sigmar release before a shift to other releases from Games Workshop.

It should come as no surprise then that according to Amazon, this game is selling!

Bio: Virginia restless, miniature painter & cat dad. He blames LEGOs for all this, as there was something about those little-colored blocks that started it all. Spikey Bits sprung from Rob staying motivated to hobby on his backlog of projects, while sharing his knowledge with others during the early blogging era.

LEGO maniac and scale model hobbyist in the 80s turned miniature wargamer and trading card player ever since. He’s played every edition of Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Fantasy (since 5th Edition), but Titans of all sizes will always be his favorite! It’s even rumored that his hobby vault rivals the Solemnance Galleries, containing rulebooks filled with lore from editions long past, ancient packs of black-bordered Magic Cards, and minatures made of pewter and resin.
