Warhammer newest primarch miniature has just been revealed in a preview that has perhaps raised more questions than it answered? Sanguinius is here!
Horus Heresy and Blood Angels fans rejoice! Games Workshop revealed the finished model of Sanguinius in his all painted-up glory! We’ve been seeing rumors about him for a while now, but perhaps none of us expected him to appear this early.
Horus Heresy’s Sanguinius Revealed
Warlike, elegant and dynamic, Sanguinius is a stunning addition to the Horus Heresy Character Series. This is an instantly eye-catching miniature that’s both a fantastic gaming piece for the Horus Heresy and an incredible collector’s item.
Sanguinius is a real work of art…but you may be right if you think it looks like something is missing. All other Primarchs come with some kind of dynamic base so it looks like we haven’t seen everything just yet.
Like other Primarchs, Sanguinius will be available as part of the Horus Heresy Character Series. However, unlike his brothers, there will be two versions available. The already impressive Character Series version (above), and a special edition of the model that features an extraordinary display base. Both versions will be available to buy at the Horus Heresy Weekender first.

All of the Primarchs have a larger base that they sit on (like Rogal Dorn above). However, looking at Magnus, he is posed dueling Leman Russ. Could it be that Sanguinius is going to be getting a pose striking down Ka’Bandha- his mortal enemy?
Will that be his “special edition extraordinary display base”? We won’t know until the Horus Heresy Weekender.
February 2nd-3rd marks Horus Heresy Weekender event (which just so happens to have Blood Angels on the ticket cover). There, we can expect to see all kinds of Blood Angel reveals as well as most of our questions answered. Until then, we are stuck admiring the details of one of the most anticipated characters in 30k lore.
