Will the Assault Squad rules be better in the new book, that the last one? Come see their new rules

Via a Spikey Bits Reader

Assault Squad priced at 70 points, 3 point jump pack upgrade meaning actually they stay the same (85pts). 5 man units can still take 2 Flamers/Plas Pistols.
Veteran Sgts look like 10 pts still, no 2 wound Eldar filth sadly.
Eviscerator 25pts upgrade per 5 men in the unit (Can take 2 if 10 man squad then).
Whats real bad is the free drop pod has gone.  5 man squad with a Pod and 2 flamers used to be 95pts and a nice little unit I enjoyed using (2 scoring and some anti infantry) in an allied detachment. It looks as though the remove jump pack and take a pod/rhino for free is gone.  That would make that squad I described 115 pts.
Assault Squads from my perspective seem to have got worse.  And they were bad before….

Now in the interest of full disclosure, I’ve unboxed a lot of these and seen rules in the instructions manuals that did not include all the options that the book did.
So there is still hope that there are more options and features that are not covered here. The New Decal sheet looks useful too.
All should be revealed next week!
