Games Workshop Drops Necromunda FAQ

orlocks necromunda release pdf instructions gang warsWe’re finally seeing the release of the Necromunda FAQ and it’s changing some things about how you play your next game. Come check it out!

Games Workshop just gave the new Necromunda FAQ and Errata, and it looks like there are some changes coming our way. Let’s take a look.

Necromunda Grenade Launcher

A failed Ammo check on a grenade launcher does not follow the same rules for grenades. If the wielder is able to clear the weapon fault they are able to reload, and this is factored into the cost of the weapon.

Necromunda Lasgun

Lasguns will follow the stats on page 70 instead of page 39. This is one you’ll want to look at before your next game in the Underhive.

Necromunda Grenade Rapid Fire

In the Gang War book, Rapid Fire can be used if you’re attacking with a pistol in close combat. Get in close and unleash the fury of bullets that is your pistol on your opponent.

Necromunda Target Priority

Since we’ve been talking about weapons, let’s talk about Target Priority. The question is can Prone fighters be ignored for the purpose of Target Priority. Most of the time, a Pinned fighter can be ignored because they’re usually behind cover, and that’s because there’s usually another fighter that’s easier to hit. But, if the required hit roll is the same for both the Pinned fighter and the fighter further away, then you must shoot the Pinned fighter.

As for the Seriously Injured, they’re most likely going to die anyway and can be freely ignored. SAVAGE!

This is just a couple examples of what you’ll find in the Necromunda FAQ and Errata, there is a lot more to be seen! Make sure you head on over and check it out for yourself, there might be some things changing in your next game.

What do you think about the latest FAQ for Necromunda? Do you like the clarification on Target Priority and Weapons? Drop us a line and let us know if there’s anything you felt should’ve been added.
