Infinity is Finally Getting Plastic Miniatures!
The wait is over! Infinity is finally getting plastic miniature models, as it looks like the days of pewter are numbered there.
The first batch of minis made in plastic will feature some favorite minis and it looks like they will be doing this for all of their models moving forward. This is honestly awesome as metal can sometimes be a serious pain to hobby on. So for players, this is really going to make the game a better hobby experience. Not everything is dropping at once, but we have a list with release dates below.
The new material they are using is also reusable which is just awesome, considering most of the top brands don’t use recyclable materials. They also say the quality of sculpts will still be just as high, so no worries about losing out on detail. Let’s check out some of the minis!
As you can see, the quality looks pretty spot on when compared to the metal sculpt. Let’s hear a little from them about the announcement.
The timing couldn’t be better, as metal prices are reaching historic highs, we simply couldn’t keep stable prices for our entire range of products. You’re all aware of the recent price rises, and we didn’t want to have to increase the price of our products before the year’s end. For that reason, we decided that Infinity’s first plastic miniature would hit the market earlier than originally expected. We’re talking about Vostok Sputniks, included in the Beyond Operation Crimson Stone box, which will be up for sale in September.
We can guarantee that it’s an outstanding product. One of the core features that identify us is that we constantly strive for quality, and that’s why we make the best miniatures on the market. The manufacturing system is identical to that of our metal miniatures regarding the cutting, 3D printing, molding, and filing processes – the only change is that the plastic is injected into the mold, whereas the metal uses a centrifuge.
Here’s a list of everything coming in the first wave:
- Vostok Sputniks (included in the Beyond Operation Crimson Stone), September release.
- Jackbots (included in ITS Season 13 Tournament Pack and AGL Tournament Pack – Fiddler Edition).
- 25mm Scenery Bases, Alpha Series, October release
- Nomads Remotes Pack, November release.
- Polaris Bearpode (included in Ariadna Beast Pack), November release.
- 40mm Scenery Bases, Alpha Series, November release.
- 55mm Scenery Bases, Alpha Series, November release.
