From the looks of it, Robbin Cruddace wants to bring more new beta rules into 40k, with one of the ways being via the White Dwarf. Come see the latest!

We already know that February’s White Dwarf is coming with the newly announced 40k beta rule. By the looks of it, we can expect to see even more beta rule drops in White Dwarf for the times ahead.

We also know that the Assassins may be getting an update in March as well if February’s White Dwarf teaser image is to be taken at face value.

Now there is even more on all the new rules that will be coming to the magazine inside a guest column from February’s White Dwarf itself:

Cruddace Hints At More BETA Rules Coming In White Dwarf

To date, all of the beta rules we have published so far have been things that apply to games as a whole, affecting all armies. However, there is no reason we couldn’t use beta rules in a more focused way, using them to add something to specific armies or codexes.

Also, there is now another medium through which we can get rules into your hands, and that’s the very magazine you’re holding.

Now, GW has been trying to put exclusive content in the White Dwarf magazine for a while now. However, it seems to all get put up on the internet days or even weeks ahead of the release. At the end of the day, it’s nice to see that GW has taken the position of helping out weaker armies by giving them beta rules in the future.

What’s the New Beta Rule?

Basically, both Traitor and Loyalist Space Marines will be able to make a lot better use out of their Rapid Fire weaponry. You don’t only have to be in rapid fire range anymore. If you stand still, or you’re a Terminator, Biker, Centurion, or Vehicle, you can shoot your Rapid Fire profile on bolt weapons.

What do you think about GW exclusively putting beta rules in the White Dwarf magazine? Would you subscribe to their magazine if your army got a rules change? Or would you just go to the web and get the latest update? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
