While there already is a model, this one is just a lot cooler if we’re being honest; plus, who doesn’t want another M.O.D.O.K flying around?

This unique version of the character is both sinister and wild, giving players unforeseen methods to engage and disrupt their opponent. With an all-new miniature, new Team Tactic Cards, and new Stat Card abilities, M.O.D.O.K., Scientist Supreme aims to take control of the tabletop.
M.O.D.O.K. Scientist Supreme MCP Character Card & Rules
His first attack is the aptly named Doomsday Chair Arsenal, which is evident in the bristling array of weaponry available to this character. This Range 4, Strength 5 attack allows him to choose between a Physical or Energy attack type and even has a chance of applying the Incinerate special condition when he rolls a wild during the attack. His second attack is a demonstration of how the experimentation on his mind didn’t just increase his mental powers in the conventional sense, but how it brought him into the psychic realm as well. Psionic Assault is the unleashing of the tremendous mental powers at M.O.D.O.K.’s disposal, hammering his opponent with a Strength 7 attack from Range 3.
As a threat four leader (now for criminal syndicate), he has some pretty interesting abilities to get your team rerolls, but also deflect attacks! His first attack is excellent because you can choose the damage type, and it always gives targets the incinerate condition.
Then, his psionic assault is powerful because he advances forward and stuns the opponent, even before the damage is done. This should help out his small movement characteristic quite a bit.
Next on his card, you’ll get a taste of how M.O.D.O.K leads his underlings. The introduction of this character brings a new Leadership to the Criminal Syndicate affiliation in the form of Advanced Idea Mechanics. This Leadership ensures that when his allies are keeping their eyes on the prize (that is, holding or contesting an objective token) he can help direct them towards that EUREKA moment all scientists strive for. When they roll a wild result in their attack or defense rolls, this Leadership will allow the allied character to change 1 of its dice in that roll to a hit or shield result.
His only Active superpower is one beast of a throw. By My Calculations, You’ll be Dead in Seconds! allows him to throw up to Size 4 terrain from a whopping Range 3 away. It may only travel a Short distance, but at a cost of 3 Power, that’s not a bad deal for a guaranteed 5 incoming damage!
Changing dice rolls is always sweet, and so is throwing terrain around the battlefield! Then, you can fairly easily keep him alive by just transferring the attacks to allies for free!
New M.O.D.O.K. Scientist Supreme Team Tactics Cards!
First, these are tied to his name and not this character, meaning the other version of M.O.D.O.K that just got new rules in November 2022 can use these as well.
Simpleton is one of the wildest and funniest cards we’ve ever seen! He can literally blow up a teammate, gain a VP and grab an Objective Token! Just about as thematic as you can get, so be sure to run some cheap characters you don’t mind being blown up!
Mind Games is exciting, as you can divide the tokens unevenly and force your opponent to choose either VP or worsening their characters.
Overall, it’s super thematic and should be really fun to play. Just remember, are you the sort of person who would put your reward into your own goblet or his enemy’s?
