The Red Dread Returns in Another Killer Indy Artist 40k Animation!

The Red Dread coverThe Red Dread and Max Murray are back again with another fantastic Warhammer 40k animation- check out the carnage!

Can the Chaos Cultists muster anything to stop this one-man war machine? Probably not, but that’s why we watch!

It’s been over a year since we last saw our favorite dread in action, but much like the first short in the series, this one was worth the wait. Max Murray has uploaded this long-awaited sequel on YouTube to much fanfare.

If you haven’t seen the first video, you can check it out here! Enough talking; let’s jump into the action.

The Red Dread Returns in Another Killer Warhammer 40k Animation!

CultistPOV1

While it’s only two and a half minutes, the action and suspense packed into every frame will make watching it worth every second. The video hops straight into it, giving you a first-person perspective from a cultist rushing to confront the dreadnought.

As a walker gets BBQ’d in the background, it looks like these two cultists are left to defend against the dreadnaught’s onslaught.

CultistPOV3Uh… Make that one, Cultist.

CultistPOV4

In other words, there are no cultists.

AirAssaultOnHiveCity

Between scenes of cultist annihilation, a pair of Thunderhawks joins in on the hive city assault, packing some serious heat!

HiveCityShield

When said heat is launched at the hive city, the missiles break on the city’s shields. This lights up the exterior and shakes the hive city to its core.

The Red Dread Continues Its Rampage!

CultistCore

Afterward, the shot moves down to the core; a large group of cultists gathers ominously. What’re those heretics up to now?

WarpCreature

Following some fantastic shots, a daemon crawls out of the hive city’s core.

DreadSlamWhile the mystery builds around those events, we’re treated to intermittent scenes of dreadnought-induced mayhem!

WarpCreature2

Finally, the warp creature decides to get down to business. It introduces itself by blasting the first cultist it sees.

WarpCreature3

As well as tons of other cultists in the room, of course.

WarpPortal

Suddenly, the blasted cultist energy swirls into a massive portal.

WarpCreaturefinalThe video ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but watch it regardless, as it is just as intense as Dread Fall.  If you enjoyed the video, be sure to check out Max Murray’s YouTube and Vimeo here!
