Warcry Catacombs & House of Iron Pricing CONFIRMED!

Gw-new-release-warcry catacombsDon’t miss the confirmed lineup and pricing for Warcry Catacombs and Necromunda releases coming the last week of October!

Multiple retailers have already confirmed the prices and lineup of the Warcry Catacombs and House of Iron pre-orders. This week includes box sets, dice, terrain, and a whole lot more.

If you’re not up to speed these some of these were teased over the weekend, but now we know what they will cost. The majority of the pre-orders this week will be focused on their skirmish games.

Here’s what’s next in line and what we know about them so far.

Warcry: Catacombs $210

Warcry catacombs overveiwWarcry: Catacombs is a stunning new core set that allows you to battle in the underground dungeons of Varanthax’s Maw, deep beneath the Skullpike Mountains – get ready for the Warhammer-iest game of ‘the floor is lava’ ever! The ancient, trap-filled dungeons stretch on and on, populated by monsters and blood-hungry savages, so muster your warbands and prepare to venture into the abyssal darkness…

An awesome part of this set GW doesn’t touch on here in the reveal is that the board is double-sided! offering two completely different environments.

catacomb force 1The Scions of the Flame are Aqshy-obsessed fanatics in service of Archaon, who they believe will scour the Mortal Realms clean in a fiery apocalypse.

catacombs force 2The Shadowstalkers are soul-bound to Morathi and imbued with incredible powers that make them a threat unlike any other. After all, it’s hard to escape the Shadowstalkers when they can blink between shadows in an instant and command your own reflection to stab you in the back!

Warcry: Catacombs Board Pack $55.

warcry board packIf you want to mix it up by adding some variety to your surroundings, you can also pick up this supplementary board pack which features two more double-sided gameboards to use, each depicting a unique location – the Lair of the Sphiranx, Temple of Nagendra, Cinder Warrens, and the Halls of Velorum.

These will almost definitely be worth it, assuming they don’t cost an arm and a leg. It’s always nice to have extra setting options to mix it up.

Warcry Starter Sets $60 apiece (Kharadron $65).

Warcry Carry Case $60

Warcry carrying caseThe Citadel squad foam tray inside can safely store up to 36 miniatures – more than enough to transport a warband or two to their battlefield destination!

When you buy directly from a company making the game you play, the cases will probably be little more expensive, but you do get to get a case that might look better, with logos and iconography on it instead of a plain black case.

House of Iron $47

house of ironAnother glorious supplement for Necromunda is on its way – House of Iron. This book focuses on the scions of House Orlock, expanding upon their long history with exciting new lore and introducing thematic rules – including brand-new fighters, wargear, Gang Tactics, and more – that capture the methods they use to control their territory in the underhive.

Each of the Necromunda gang supplements has been good so far, so this one is sure to please as well.

Orlock Dice and Tactics Cards $15 each

house of iron accesoriesIf you serve the House of Iron, you can show your allegiance with a set of Orlock dice that bear its mark in place of the 6. Similarly, a set of Gang Tactics cards will make it easy to keep track of the sneaky tricks at your disposal as you battle rival gangs.

The cards are as well a safe buy, but you should only really get the dice if you feel them calling your name, as they are just a new flavor of the starter set dice.

Orlock Arms Masters & Wreckers $42

Of course, you’ll be able to pick up members of the gang as well with the new expansion. Robo-dogs and jetpack members are ready to fight under your cause! We covered a lot of their rules and previews previously here.

Zone Mortalis: Gang Stronghold $90

gang strongholdProtect your hard-won turf with this fully modular terrain kit for Necromunda. Designed to work seamlessly with the Zone Mortalis range, you can either use it to expand your existing collection or create your own bespoke gang HQ that will really show your rivals you mean business.

This might be perfect for Necromunda, but I think it’ll look sweet in a 40k match as well. Perhaps even making an Underhive based 40k setting…  Check out more on this new terrain set in this article.

Crucible of Retribution $35

titanicus crucible of retributionThis narrative expansion explores the war for the Belt of Iron and brings a plethora of new scenarios and rules for Adeptus Titanicus players, including the famous Legio Ignatum.

New rules, scenarios, and lore. Not much to dislike if your a dedicated Titanicus player (well except new engines to play with).  We covered a lot of their teasers already as well in this post.

Adeptus Titanicus: Open Engine War Card Pack $27
