Wow, the new Creature Caster Death Elemental looks BANANAS! Don’t miss what was going to be the big reveal at Adepticon later in the month!
Creature Caster is continually bringing us new models to enjoy. This time, we’ll take a look back at the development of the Death Elemental that we saw earlier. With the cancelation of Adepticon Creature Caster sent us exclusive pics of the upcoming mini as well.
Earlier Look at the Death Elemental
We asked the partners to help us choose a weapon design for an upcoming model. Thanks to everyone who voted. It was an extremely close battle between options 2 and 3, but number 2 took the win.
We saw a part of this model earlier in 2019. Fast forward to 2020, Creature Caster is kicking off the new year with the now named Death Elemental.
This new model is yet another step in a new direction for Creature Caster. Focusing more on death, souls, and everything afterlife, the Death Elemental looks like he’ll be a great alternative contender with Nagash or even the C’tan Nightbringer.
The Death Elemental looks like he gathers souls from the bodies underground as he hovers just above the surface.
Holding a staff with the light fixture that was polled in 2019, all of the voters helped bring this model to life the way they wanted!
Adepticon Preview
Creature Caster also shared, as a bit of a teaser, this artwork on their Facebook group recently for a lead up to the big reveal that was supposed to happen at Adoption (which has since been canceled for 2020).
“Hi all. Just wanted to share a battle scene between a Queen of Ruin and a Death Elemental that we have been working on.
The Death Elemental will be our March release and we will be releasing it at Adepticon, and online at the same time. I think this is one of the coolest models we have made, and am spending my hobby nights painting one up for my personal collection. (Please note that orders in the USA will not ship until after we return from Adepticon).
Hope everyone enjoys the art!”
New Pics of the Death Elemental
This is the first time we’ve seen the model in a full resin sculpt. The resin really shows just how detailed and defined this model really is. To add a little more spice to the pot, it’s actually set to drop sometime this month and will be in the same price class as the Lords and Ladies.
So basically $59.
With the Death Elemental closer to release than we might have expected, now might be a good time to hobby on some more Nighthaunt/ Death models. That way you can have everything ready by the time he hits your doorstep.
Look for more word soon on this release as they regroup from the cancelation of Adepticon.
