Games Workshop just dropped a new teaser for Warhammer 40k, and guess who’s about to rain death down on the battlefield this time!

First it was the Raven Guard earlier in the week, and now it’s the Tau. Read on to see what they may have in common for next week!

We intercepted this transmission (from the far future!) – what could it mean?

Looks like the newly promoted Chapter Master of the Raven Guard is ready to get back to the hunt in next week’s return to 40k skirmish battles.

40k Kill Team

Yep that’s right in addition to next week’s White Dwarf reboot for September, we will see a new skirmish game for Warhammer 40k straight outta the 4th Edition Rulebook (pg 214)!

Other details have gone viral at this point about what the new Core set will contain:

  • Space Marine Tactical Squad
  • Fire Warriors Squad
  • Small format 40k rule book
  • 32 page Kill Team rules supplement updated over to 6th Edition from the old 4th Edition rules.

I am sure we’ll hear more from Chapter Master Shrike, and his quarry soon! But for now catch up with the story from Mont’ka below:

Spikey Bits sprung from Rob staying motivated to hobby on his backlog of projects, while sharing his knowledge with others during the early blogging era.

LEGO maniac and scale model hobbyist in the 80s turned miniature wargamer and trading card player ever since. He’s played every edition of Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Fantasy (since 5th Edition), but Titans of all sizes will always be his favorite! It’s even rumored that his hobby vault rivals the Solemnance Galleries, containing rulebooks filled with lore from editions long past, ancient packs of black-bordered Magic Cards, and minatures made of pewter and resin.
