AdeptiCon 2024 event tickets are on sale now, so if you want to play in any events, get them quickly!

AdeptiCon is one of the best cons for anyone who loves tabletop wargaming, like Warhammer. Even though the event is still a few months away, it’s better to get everything buttoned up now. They have events for about every game out there, including a bunch of Warhammer 40k events, AoS, Legion, the Long War 40k Doubles, and so much more!

A Reminder that Registration Opens Sunday, January 7th at NOON (12:00 PM CST). We recommend that people review the preview schedule as events continue to be added and updated since the original post. Games Workshop events such as Warhammer 40k Kill Team and Warhammer Underworlds have been added along with a host of other events!

We’ll have the preview of the events below, but you can check out all the events here and score your tickets! As we said, most of the GW games sell out very quickly, especially 40k, so if you want to play any of them, get them early and don’t wait! However, be sure to use the links above, as there are could be some issues if you go to the main AdeptiCon site.

We would advise NOT visiting www.adepticon.org to find the registration link. That server is separate from the registration system and is not designed to handle the inevitable flood of traffic on opening day.

AdeptiCon 2024 Events!

If you plan on attending the event, be ready to start filling in for event tickets as soon as those time slots open! If the past is anything to go by, people will lock in their registrations quickly! The Warhammer 40k Team Tournament has a history of selling out, so if that interests you, act fast!

Key Dates:

01/07/2024: AdeptiCon 2024 Registration Opens

02/05/2024: Option to ship badges closes, also last day for refunds on shipped badges and merchandise

02/26/2024: Registration Closes

03/08/2024: Final day for all refunds, transfers, credits, and waitlist tickets

Long War Doubles Returns to AdeptiCon 2024!

The doubles tourney has 128 spots available (remember, only the team captain is required to buy a ticket), which is doubled from years past. It takes place on Friday, March 22nd, so if you want in on the action, keep that January 7th date in mind! Here is a rundown of how the tournament works:

Our doubles tournament allows each player to bring 1000-point force, which you will pair with another player to form a 2000-point team.

The only hard and fast rule is that your army must be painted to a three-color minimum with basing. Each individual 1000-point army must follow the current FAQ for list construction, which differs from standard 2000-point construction.

Show up in style! Each team will receive two sets of Long War Logo Dice (12 to a set), that will be handed out at LWD registration the day of the event.

All dice are square-cornered and accompanied by a sweet metal tin surrounded by EVA foam.

Team Event: This Team Event requires two players to form a single team. Only the Team Captain is required to purchase this event ticket. The team registration fee covers all players on a team. All team members are required to purchase an AdeptiCon Badge.

The format is super fun, and if you haven’t played in one yet, you should try it! This year will also include a set of Long War Logo dice for both players as part of the ticket cost!
