Sisters of Battle have been the hot topic recently, and now there’s some talk going around of Sisters getting Primaris models. But are they really though?
A while back, GW previewed some Sisters of Battle bits that got people talking. Let’s take a look at the pic that started this rumor. Did people jump the gun on this one?
GW Previews More Plastic Sisters of Battle!
Warhammer community posted up some shots of their presentation at the 2018 Warhammer Fest Europe on their site. Looks like the weapons against the heretic are getting a facelift from the classic 1990’s design!
Back at AdeptiCon, we revealed Sisters of Battle were coming in (if the Emperor wills it) 2019. We know you guys have been anticipating this release for years, and we want to assure you that Sisters of Battle are in the best possible hands.
After looking at the first of the new generation of Adepta Sororitas at AdeptiCon, today we’re previewing some early images as well as exploring how our miniatures designers have brought this iconic range to life.
Jumping the Gun
This is the pic that was previewed at an earlier Warhammer Fest. At first glance, it looks like these are all Sisters Bolters.
Notice the top weapon? That’s a Stalker Pattern Bolter for Primaris Marines, which immediately got people are thinking that Primaris Sisters will be on the horizon for new releases. But did the community jump the gun?
Look at the description that goes to the picture from above:
Take their bolters – just as the bolt rifles wielded by the Primaris Space Marines were based on the iconic Godwyn-pattern, so too are the new Sisters of Battle bolters.
The pic is just showing the scale and modeling differences between the Sisters of Battle Bolter (bottom) with the normal Marine, and Primaris Stalker Bolter. It’s easy to jump to the conclusion of Sisters getting Primaris models when you look at the pic. but the description says otherwise.
Are Sisters of Battle Really Getting Primaris Marines?
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Games Workshop decided to start Primaris Sisters sometime down the road. But as of right now, the only thing we have set in stone is the Sisters of Battle models coming around 2019 along with some Beta rules.
