On the Imperial world of Redemption, scant years after the destruction of the resident order of Adeptus Sororitas, new powers are rising. The apparently benevolent cult of the Spiral Dawn tends to the sick and the infirm, even as they hide their own dark secrets from the Ecclesiarchy. Meanwhile, gangs following a brutal demagogue continue the work of the Ruinous Powers of Chaos. I for one feel that Games Workshop and Black Library focus too much on everything coming from the point of view of the Imperium and would love to see more novels in the future that don’t always portray the Imperium as the good guys. It seems they have mixed it up a little in this eShort and will be telling the story from another’s point of view. I for one have added Casts a Hungry Shadow to the top of my reading list.
