Dark Angels won the MID-MO Maelstrom 2023 undefeated, as these Warhammer 40k army lists were at the top spots!
The tournament is over, and now we can look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought into their armies.
Dark Angels Win MID-MO Maelstrom: Top 3 Warhammer 40k Army Lists

3rd Place: Jake Harris – Tyranids
2nd Place: Ryan Verbeck – Tyranids
1st Place: Kyle Lamperez – Dark Angels
Kyle’s winning list was a Dark Angel list led by Azrael for sustained hits and extra CP and Two Techmarines for vehicle support. Troops bring in a unit of Assault Intercessors and a normal Intercessor unit for two solid units of Marines.
Two Ballistus Dread and Two Gladiator Lancers were fielded for ranged threats that can get help from the Techmarines as well!
Lastly, two squads of Inceptors add some mobility and great anti-armor shots, while one more tank and two Redemptor Dreads really drive home the point that this is an armor-centric list that wants to be hard to kill and shoot enemies off the board all game long.
