Celestine converstioneBay Miniature Rescues

After Stripping the model, he actually does a few quick minor conversions. He green stuffs a new hammer weapon onto her arm and attaches her wings and halo to a new backpack. Both of these bits came from a Kharadron Overlords kit he had lying around. He also did a quick set of goggles made of green stuff a placed it on her head. Then he Primed the whole model black.

wing and capeFirst up for painting, he uses Golden Pthalo Green (available at Hobby Lobby, etc) over a simple white highlight on the wings. then he follows up that with Golden Pthalo Blue in an alternating fashion to create some transitions. He also uses some Golden Dioxazine Purple in the darker areas to reinforce them and on the cape as well.

metals doneNext, he moves onto the armor using Vallejo Metal Color Copper. Vallejo Metal Color Steel is then used to add some variety to some areas. He then takes some Citadel Abaddon Black on her hair.

skin doneWith Scale 75 Basic Flesh, Light Skin, Indian Shadow, and Pale Skin he quickly does the face with a mix of highlighting and lowlighting. After that, he uses Citadel Reikland Fleshshade to wash over it.

armor highlightUsing Citadel Druchii Violet he washes all of the armor and on the birds. He also washes all of the steel using Citadel Nuln Oil. After that, he uses Vallejo Metal Color Copper and a touch of Vallejo Metal Color Dark Aluminum to highlight the armor.
