This is actually a pretty cool idea, and even though it’s fairly new, seems like it will help out the community. Instead of doing a ton of searching or trying different sites, Gray Tide is trying to move all that to one single platform. So whether you want to get rid of your models or get them on the table, you can with this site.
From the looks of it, they are more than just a painting directory. Their goal is to be an all-in-one site, with everything right there. Plus, they let you chat with buyers, sellers, and painters all through safe channels with payments done through them, so you can have confidence in the outcome. Then, if you’re a painter yourself, you can use this as a job board of sorts to get your work out there and find new commissions, pretty cool!

This is a really cool idea to connect people with what they need, and to make sure things are on the up and up. Most times things go well with commission painters, buyers, and sellers, but not always. This site is looking to make sure you get good results 100% of the time!
The main three functions right now are to buy and sell and get painters. As we said though, if you’re a painter, can’t hurt to post your work.
The Marketplace for miniatures already has a ton of stuff in it, so if you’re looking for a new army or some minis, might as well check it out.
They also already have some painters on there, but not a ton. So if you’re looking to get your work out there, might be a good place to sign up. That does it for this one, just a really cool idea overall!
