White Dwarf September 2018: $9.00
Journey into the unknown with Rogue Trader Elucia Vhane as we introduce Rogue Trader, a new game that pits the crew of the starship New Dawn against the Gellerpox Infected – a terrifying Nurgle uprising. Not only do we have the full lowdown on this game, we also have The Battle of Pelennor Fields – a new boxed game for The Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game. It’s a packed issue and no mistake! Also included are the usual Battle Reports, painting guides and Designers’ Notes – all the hobby love you need in September:
First up we get to see the newest addition and special character Knight kit for the Imperial Knights, Canis Rex. This kit will be available for pre-order on September 15th and will be at your FLGS on the 22nd.
Canis Rex will be $160.00 US and will come with the bit to create the Canis Rex or the Knight Preceptor variant.
The Kil Team Rogue Trader expansion is set to release next week. This new White Dwarf gives us some backstory for each individual that comes in the box. This two faction box is going to be $130 retail and is packed full of Kill Team content.
Next up Rob breaks down the whole Forge World price hike debacle, and explains that GW has actually been doing this for years to us on regular stock items as well. He gives us his thoughts on the whole situation.
This new White Dwarf also features a Middle-Earth Battle report for The Battle of Pelennor Fields. Sporting the two Armies that come in the new box set along with some choice extras to spice things up a bit.
Last but not least we have the Paint Splatter section, that goes over how to paint the new Nurgle Blood Bowl releases for this week. Along with the new Theoden King of Rohan Miniature in the Batlle For Pelennor Fields box set.
