Brad’s winning Nids featured two detachments, with the larger being a battalion led by a Neurothrope for psychic support and a winged hive tyrant for its fantastic body and combat power.

The first troop choice is 10 Gargoyles for their movement and cheap bodies. There are also 10 Warriors for some slightly more elite troop choices.

Elites bring in three Tyrant Guards for strong melee bodies, three Venomthropes for mortal wound output, and six Zoanthropes for some more psychic support.

Fast Attacks start with a Parasite of Mortrex, an all-around great model at only 80 points. There are also five Raveners for more mobile threats.

Heavy supports then wrap up the detachment with two Carnifexes and three Biovores for some serious heavy hitters with good durability.

The list then closed out with a fortification network bringing in a Sporocyst.
