Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner- Spikey Bits Anniversary Give-Away

By Rob Baer | April 12th, 2010 | Categories: 40k News & Articles, Monthly giveaway

Who’s a big blog? That’s right true believers, Spikey Bits is one year old today!

Anyways thanks to all for reading and responding for the last year.  Hopefully there will be many many more years to come!

I have selected a winner, at random, for the Venerable Dreadnought. His blogger name is Hussar, and according to his profile “is quite fond of the colours purple, green and red.”

So he’s got about a week to reply back to my email with his address and then I’ll send him his booty.

For the rest of you, I’ve decided to turn this into a monthly give-away to promote this blog and others I write for. Details on that soon!

Well that’s it. So spread the word and if you haven’t signed up to be a follower, get on it lol.

Hopefully together we can grow this thing into something bigger for us to all learn from, and make some new friends along the way.

Bio: Virginia restless, miniature painter & cat dad. He blames LEGOs for all this, as there was something about those little-colored blocks that started it all. Spikey Bits started with Rob trying to stay motivated to hobby on his backlog of projects and share his knowledge with others during the early blogging era.

Scale model hobbyist in the 80s, miniature wargamer, and trading card player ever since. He’s played every edition of Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Fantasy since 5th Edition, but Titans of all sizes will always be his favorite! It’s even rumored that his hobby vault rivals the Solemnance Galleries, containing rulebooks filled with lore from editions long past, ancient packs of black-bordered Magic Cards, and minatures made of both pewter and resin.
