The Separatist Droids have preservation protocols to keep them flying, but this one is malfunctioning. Go out in a blaze of glory with DBS-404!
Get ready for an interesting take on a new type of Droid Bomber that has lost its preservation protocols. DBS-404 is an initiative 4 Hyena class Droid Bomber that has an interesting ability to attack at range 0. While you perform an attack at range 0-1 you must roll 1 additional die and after the attack hits you suffer 1 critical damage. This ability is great for blocking and getting some extra damage onto your foes.
Since DBS-404 is a Bomber, equip some Proton Bombs to be even more reckless. Proton Bombs can be dropped using the 1 straight template and can be particularly deadly when you block an enemy after dropping your bomb!
Since DBS-404 has no preservation protocols, a little extra hull never hurt. A Hull Upgrade gives you 1 extra hull, bringing your Droid Bomber up to 6 hulls. This will come in handy when you get your range 0 shots off that force you to take critical damage. 
To give you extra freedom of movement for your deadly bomber blacker, use a Collision Detector. This sensor upgrade allows you to barrel roll through obstacles and can allow you to ignore obstacles you move through. Did you opponent place their ship next to an obstacle to prevent you from blocking? Not a problem for DBS-404!
