The Galaxy’s Greatest fighters will be flying in to battle in the recent Heroes of the Rebellion expansion that is right around the corner. The new T-70 pilots are revealed and they are awesome! Read on dear X-Wing player.

You’ve seen Rey. You’ve seen Poe. No let’s get down to the backbone of the Rebellion with the T-70 X-Wing pilots!

Nien Nunb gets out of the Falcon and flies his own T-70 now and he has an amazing ability. He can shed stress tokens if an enemy ship is inside his firing arc at Range 1. This is incredible as it could help him Push the Limit and have no stress to show for it. This guy will be an awesome wing man to add to your Rebel squadrons.

This new tech upgrade could helpyou get into range to shed your stress token. This card allows you to perform a boost or barrel roll while you have a stress token, as long as you do not have 3 of them. The perfect upgrade to boost you into Range 1.

swx57-snap-wexley

Snap Wexley is a slippery target that has another clutch pilot ability. His ability states that after you execute a 2-, 3-, or 4-speed maneuver, if you are not touching a ship, you may perform a free boost action. This is great, but what if you want to perform a speed 4 Koiogran turn or a speed 3 Tallon roll? Check this new tech out!

The Pattern Analyzer upgrade allows you to take stress after you perform a red maneuver AND after you perform an action. So you can perform a red maneuver, perform an action, and then take your stress. It’s crazy I tell ya!

swx57-jess-pava

Jess Pava blasts onto the scene as an excellent wing man.  When attacking or defending, you may reroll 1 of your dice for each other friendly ship at Range 1. The newest Astromech upgrade can make her wing man status even better.

When a ship that you have is target locked, you may choose one of its attack dice. The attacker must reroll that die. This can be great for defending against enemy attacks, but there is an interesting side note with this card. You may acquire target locks on other friendly ships. This is a welcome boost to any friendly nearby.

That’s it for the latest news on the Heroes of the Rebellion expansion.

Hopefully it will be out soon! We can’t wait to try these new ships!
