Mechanicus traded in the martian red paint job for a much more vibrant yellow. Take a closer look at this awesome force spotted at Warzone Atlanta.
Warzone Atlanta brought some amazing armies under one roof to roll some dice. With this Mechanicus force rocking a bright yellow paint job, they had a hard time finding decent cover to not get spotted while fighting. It takes some serious mental fortitude to stroll into battle wearing a color that blends in with almost nothing!

Bringing some of the classic Ad Mech units mixed in with the newer Skitarii Disintegrators, this army also had an awesome basing theme that matched almost seamlessly with the display board.
Space Marines might have Drop Pods but the Mechanicum prefers to take another route…underground. The termite is the last thing anyone expects to pop up only a few feet away while having to deal with a wall of robots.
Speaking of those robots, the fact that they have their domed armor plating on their head taken off makes them even scarier. But check out the amount of detail gone into each one. Yellow is not an easy color to paint and each model is complete with clean edges and a silver secondary color.
We mentioned the termite earlier and the electro-priests love to pop out of that thing and put the smack-down on an unsuspecting unit. As long as they can manage to kill an enemy unit in the first round of combat, they can be a real headache to deal with. Especially when they are only inches away from other enemy models.
Overall, what do you think about this list? How do you have your Mechanicum painted? Has this army inspired you to start your own collection of Ad Mech?
