In the end, I decided not to use the piece, as there was more focus on the ambiance, rather than the miniature itself.
The hard part, for me, on this piece was to balance the light and dark. Because I wanted snow and candlelights in the same scene, I had to tone down the snow to make the candlelight the brightest. I went for a blue-ish night light thing, and even though the balance isn’t perfect, I’m satisfied.
“I have waited centuries for this!”
