Here’s the latest on the new Warhammer AoS Flesh-Eater Courts army box, Horus Heresy Assault Squad, and more, hitting pre-order next week!
Games Workshop has revealed all the new releases hitting pre-order this Saturday, December 2nd, at 1 PM Eastern time here in the States!
The stench… the guttural howls… the constant wet gnawing of rotten teeth on bone… welcome, esteemed personages, to the feast. The noble lords and ladies of the Summercourt are beginning their procession, as they carouse upon the eave of battle. Hark, the herald speaks.
New AoS Flesh-Eater Courts Army Box, Horus Heresy Assault Squad Pre-Order Revealed
The new AoS Flesh-Eater Courts Army Box, Horus Heresy Assault Squad, and more are up for pre-order next week; here are all the details from the Warhammer Community.
These will have a street date of December 16th, 2023.
Flesh-Eater Courts Army Box Set
The set contains 25 completely new plastic miniatures: one mighty Abhorrant Gorewarden as general, his trusty Varghulf Courtier, three lightning-fast Morbheg Knights, and 20 obdurate Cryptguard.
You’ll also find an exclusive launch edition of the new 88-page Battletome: Flesh-eater Courts, plus 27 warscroll cards, 30 tokens, and 33 enhancement cards, all of which are only available in this set (though the battletome will be released separately in a different format). In short, it’s everything a general needs to set out on a Crimson Crusade in Ushoran’s name. This set is available while stocks last.
With tons of new models and new rules, you can’t really go wrong with this army box if you’re a fan of the faction!
Da Grotmas Gitz
You didn’t see this coming – and nor did da Red Gobbo. It’s the other festive miniature from Warhammer for 2023, featuring a black-clad rogue darting through the snow on one squig with an open mouth, scattering presents and snotlings in his wake. This model will be available for a strictly limited period in December, so snap yours up quick!
Santa’s helpers take on new forms as another Christmas exclusive model helps spread holiday hobbying this year.
MKVI Assault Squad
It’s called the Age of Darkness for a reason – the skies were usually blotted out by soaring munitions, city-levelling explosions, and the smoky contrails of hordes of Legiones Astartes descending from the heavens on their Warhawk jump packs.
This is a box of 10 plastic Assault Marines for deployment in your Horus Heresy games. You get enough components to arm your squad with chainswords and either bolt pistols or combat shields, plus a range of accessories, and a Sergeant with extra weapons options and two heads. The kit is entirely compatible with all MKVI upgrade sets, including Legion-specific accessories.
More new plastic options for Horus Heresy are always nice, as the new assault marines squad touches down.
Legiones Astartes Transfer Sheets
Also coming to the Horus Heresy are two comprehensive transfer sheets for the Legiones Astartes, providing general squad markings, honour signs, numerals and lettering suited for all 18 Legions. The Infantry sheet contains 1,280 decals in total, while the Vehicle sheet includes 510. Note that there’s no Legion-specific heraldry included on either set of transfers.
Add some more iconography to your models in Horus Heresy with these transfer sheets.
White Dwarf 495
Your favourite hobby magazine returns for its December issue, featuring lashings of information on all the new Tyranids and the Fourth Tyrannic War. You’ll also find new special mission rules for Boarding Actions in the current edition of Warhammer 40,000, Warcry rules for taking your Free City fighters on a Dawnbringer Crusade, Kill Team rules for jungle warfare – complete with jungle cards – and much, much more.
Follow all the latest in Warhammer from GW in the newest edition of White Dwarf!
Brimstein Firegrass
Spruce up your bases with these vermillion grass tufts, which match the scorched battlefields of Aqshy as well as they do alien planets. In all, you get 155 tufts in four different sizes – enough for a whole army.
Add some super unique grass to your minis with the new bright red Brimsteind Firegrass from Citadel.
