Games Workshop and The Black Library have announced their special limited edition releases and they are impressive. Let’s take a look!
Being released alongside the 8th Edition Rule Book and the Dark Imperium Box set pre-orders, is the special edition of the 8th Edition Rule Book with lots of extras. It comes with signed prints, an art book, a large scale galaxy map that is double-sided, the limited edition rule book with special design, a mini-rule book containing the core rules, uniquely designed objective markers, a bag of metal skulls for markers, a metal range ruler, and a set of tactical objective cards with silver trim. No price has yet to be given and there will be only 2,000 copies available.
Also being released tomorrow is the Limited Edition of the Dark Imperium novel by Guy Haley. It is the first novel set in the new status quo of the galaxy and is a 368 page hardback book with soft touch cover and leather wrapped spine. Gold foiling and artwork from the new game round out this special edition offering from the Black Library. Each copy is sign by Guy Haley and numbered. There will only by 1,000 copies of this release.
The story sees Roboute Guilliman leading his Indomitus Crusade across the galaxy, bringing him back to Ultramar, where the pustulent Death Guard are laying siege to the Five Hundred Worlds. And as if that weren’t enough, this edition also includes an exclusive short story, ‘In the Grim Darkness’.
