Look, we know GW has been receiving a lot of hate and we’ve been quick to point out when they do things wrong. There are still plenty they are doing right though, so today, Rob goes over the 5 things he thinks they’ve done right in 2021. Let’s get into it.
5 Things Games Workshop is Doing Right (amid a sea of hate)

5) Gaunt’s Ghosts
Rob loves that they brought back such a nostalgic kit this year, and the fact that this opens up the possibility for plenty more kits like this. It’s hard to be mad about a kit like this, even if it is a little expensive. If you want to see more about the kit and watch Rob unbox it, check that out here.
4) Re-release of Be’lakor
Considering this came out first for AoS, not that many people grabbed them up right away for 40k. Gw releasing them again when the Charadon book was a great idea because nobody wants rules when they can’t grab the minis.

3) The Queue
The queue was a great idea that helps GW stop scalpers from grabbing up all the products before normal gamers can get what they need. IF you haven’t seen it yet, basically, it lets people get into the site only after a certain amount of time as well as restricting how much you can buy.
Get rid of the Baby Carrier look with this!

2) Warhammer 40k Imperium Magazine
The magazine is a great way to get a bunch of minis, hobby supplies, and tips for a good price. This has been delayed until 2022, but if you ordered early, they are sending the test runs this month.
This is a win-win for the hobbyists and GW because you get a ton of minis for a decent price and GW gets to move old products. Check out more about the magazine here.
1) Warhammer +
This one is obviously a little controversial right now because of all the IP stuff going on now. Hear us out though, for everything you get, it is really worth it. If all you do now is subscribe to the AoS app or the 40k app, you are getting all the animations, the vault, and shows for the same price as just the 40k app.
You even get some free minis with it. So while it sucks some creators are getting taken down, GW has the right to protect their IP. If you want to see everything included in the app, check that out here.
